Updated: Feb 7

Do you need to organize tasks and dates for a project? Do you want to make a Gantt chart to project when a project starts and ends? Do you want to know who is late in delivering a project task? I'll show you how to do it in 1 minute in Excel! 👇

1. Open Microsoft Excel and on the initial screen select "More templates" :

(Note: If your version of Excel does not display the splash screen when it opens, select "File" at the top left of the ribbon to display this screen.)

2. Find the template called "Simple Gantt Chart", double-click on it and press the green "Create" button:

3. You now have your Gantt chart to organize your projects! Now you just need to customize it:

  • Give your project a title , as well as the name of the company and the person responsible for the project.

  • Set a project start date

  • Write the names of the project tasks

  • Write the names of those responsible for each task

  • Write the start and end date of each task

Take advantage of this tool to easily organize work teams and to accurately track the project (and its delays) day by day.
